FAQ Quick Answers for Buyers
-
01
What types of blades and tools do you manufacture?
We specialize in high-precision industrial blades and tooling, including slitting blades, circular slitting knives, paper industry blades, film and foil cutting blades, food machinery blades, tobacco and cigarette blades, lithium battery blades, special-shaped knives, as well as CNC press brake tooling and CNC punching dies.
-
02
What materials do you use for your blades?
We select materials according to the application and cutting conditions, mainly including:
Tool steels (such as D2, SKD11, Cr12MoV) for high wear resistance and toughness
High-speed steels (HSS, M2, etc.) for high-speed cutting and stable edge retention
Carbide and solid carbide for extreme wear resistance and long service life
Stainless steels (e.g. 420, 440C) for corrosion resistance and food-contact applications -
03
Can you produce blades according to our drawings or samples?
Yes. Most of our orders are custom-made. You can send us detailed drawings, CAD files or physical samples. Our engineers will confirm dimensions, tolerances, material and heat treatment, then produce blades that match or improve your original design.
-
04
What information do you need to offer a quotation?
To provide an accurate quote, please share:
Blade type and application (what material you cut, on which machine)
Detailed dimensions or drawings (outer diameter, inner diameter, thickness, etc.)
Required material and hardness (if known)
Quantity and expected delivery time
Your destination port or country for calculating shipping options -
05
What are your typical lead times?
Lead time depends on product type and order quantity. For standard or repeat orders, production usually takes about 10–20 days. For new custom designs or complex blades, lead time is generally around 20–30 days. We will confirm an exact schedule after reviewing your requirements.
-
06
What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
MOQ depends on the blade type and processing complexity. For many standard blades, we can start from small batches. For highly customized or special-profile blades, the MOQ will be higher to cover tooling and setup costs. Please contact us with your specific product and we will advise a suitable MOQ.
-
07
How do you ensure product quality?
We follow strict quality control procedures throughout the whole process:
Incoming inspection of raw materials and hardness
In-process measurement of key dimensions during grinding and machining
Final inspection of dimensions, surface finish and edge quality
Traceable production records; optional batch or serial number marking can be provided if required -
08
Can you provide samples for testing?
Yes. We can provide samples for testing and machine trials. For standard items, samples may be available from stock. For custom blades, samples are produced according to your drawings or samples, and a sample charge may apply. Sample cost can often be refunded in bulk orders.
-
09
Do you support OEM/ODM and logo marking?
We welcome OEM and ODM cooperation. We can produce blades under your brand and mark your logo, item code or batch number on the blade by laser engraving, according to your requirements.
-
10
How are the blades packed and shipped?
Blades are individually protected with anti-rust oil or paper, then packed in strong cartons and export-standard wooden cases if needed. We can arrange shipment by express, air or sea, depending on the order volume and your time requirements.
